Kriss Byrne – Managing Director, Byrne House Ltd
Kriss has run her own semi independent hostel for ‘leaving care’ children aged between 16 and 19 in Bedford for the last five years.
She has more than 20 years experience of working within the Supported Housing sector, alongside vulnerable young people aged 16 years and over. During her career, Kriss has gained experience through working at the YMCA and in Domestic Violence Units across the country.
Over the years, Kriss has gained qualifications that cover supported housing, substance misuse, behavioural issues in adolescence and women and children affected by domestic violence to a NVQ Level 4 standard.
Kriss, her husband and her sons are a family of animal lovers and have owned a Dalmatian called Studley, an Italian Spinone called Creasy, a Husky called Nook and a very large house rabbit.
